Today a disc (CD & DVD) is just like a barrel of oil, a pure commodity, no more, no less, plain and simple. Discs are essential business cards, and like business cards are usually disposed of. Gone are the days of 8 page booklets accompanying CDs, etc. In 2010 the job of a disc is to deliver content (usually music) and direct where more information about the artist can be found (the printing of a website, phone number, email address, etc. on the surface of the disc). If a listener likes the music they generally transfer it to mp3 and place it onto their computer, ipod-like device, or phone,.....and never to listen or use the actual CD again. That's the real world today - and not a bad thing....if this happens the CD has done its job! Due to this reality it rarely pays to spend a lot of money on packaging. The "imagery", the "look", the stuff that traditionally was part of "packaging" and all aspects of marketing an image or look should be done online where it's cheap & can be scaled. The idea is to drive the listener of a CD to a website where the full picture and bigger story of the artist or act can can be communicated.

If you would like to have direct on disc printing simply add $10 to the cost of 100 units. We only offer direct on disc printing (thermography) in Black, text and line art logos. We have thousands of fonts/styles and you can simply send us the text to be placed on the disc in email or as a word file and provide us with some guidance of the look and feel that you like, we would be pleased to email you back several sample layout proofs for you to examine. You can also always email us a tiff, jpeg, or bmp of what you have in mind for a label and we'll be pleased to take a look at it and let you know if we can go into production with the exact submitted file. It's a very simple process to get on the same page with the disc label via email. We stock jewel cases of all kinds, and also do a full color cover insert with a slimline case shrinkwrapped "package" for $175.00 for 100 units - give us a call if you would like more information on this offering.

Master CDs & DVDs can be dropped off in person with our doorman in our lobby at our studio any time, we're 1 block from the #2 & #3 subway train at the 135th St. station, basically at the corner of 135th & 5th Ave - next to a Chase Bank. The address is 10 West 135th St., NYC, NY 10037 - Studio 14P. Call, text or email that an order is coming in because we guarantee turn around time, usually orders for 100 disc are completed in 1 hour during normal business hours. Orders dropped off after hours can be picked up the next morning by 10am! Or you can upload files of any kind (mp3, wav, aiff, mp4, etc.) to our server and simply come by and pick up your order. All you have to do is Click That Target Below and you'll be taken to our server - uploading is an easy process. Please let us know if you would like 0, 1, or 2 second gaps between the tracks in that case. Every day people upload files and simply come by a couple hours later and pick up their order.
